The Saint Anthony Park Community Foundation Request for Proposal for 2024 Community Grant are closed. See information below for an indication of the grant process, requirements and timelines. New information will be out early next year for the 2025 Grant Round.

Our grants support our ongoing commitment to improving the environment, strengthening learning opportunities, enhancing livability and aging-in place resources, stimulating business vitality, and appreciation of the arts and music.

In supporting these aspects of our local society, the SAP Community Foundation looks forward to partnering with your organization to make Saint Anthony Park a more resilient and healthy community.

Saint Anthony Park Community Grants

PROPOSAL DEADLINE:

Friday April 1, 2024 (all application materials must be submitted by 11:59 PM – Central Time)

ELIGIBILITY:

Not-for profit, neighborhood and community-based organizations or groups serving the needs of St. Anthony Park are eligible for funding. For the purposes of this grant program, “St. Anthony Park” includes the St. Anthony Park District 12 Community Council boundaries, the University Grove area, 1666 Coffman, the Fulham block of Lauderdale and the St. Paul Campus of the University of Minnesota.

The Foundation does not consider grants to organizations which discriminate based on race, creed, or gender. Additionally, no grants will be awarded to an organization whose primary purpose is to influence legislation or to participate in a political campaign.

What will be funded:

In keeping with its mission “to nurture the unique community assets of Saint Anthony Park to secure a strong, vibrant and inclusive neighborhood for future generations,” the Foundation has identified the following priority areas for the grant program:

• Improving our environment
• Strengthening learning opportunities for all ages
• Enhancing liveability
• Supporting aging-in-place solutions
• Promoting business vitality
• Cultivating life-long appreciation for the arts and/or music
• Promoting equity, inclusion, increased community participation and social justice

The Foundation will accept project or general operations support grants in alignment with its mission and above priorities. Proposals should address at lease one of the priority areas.

*Applications that demonstrate collaboration among organizations and/or that address multiple priority areas are strongly encouraged.


** Between $1,000-2,500 available per application.

The following will not be funded:

·       Projects that support political propaganda, or otherwise to attempt to influence legislation.

·       Projects that aim to influence the outcome of any specific public election, or to carry on, directly or indirectly, any voter registration drive, with certain very limited exceptions.

·       Individual travel, study or other similar purposes, unless certain requirements are satisfied, including the obtaining of advance approval from the IRS.

APPLICATION TIMELINES:

Application due to SAP Community Foundation:  April 1, 2024 (11:59 PM – Central Time)
Payment: June 15, 2024

All applications and supporting information must be submit via this Google Form by April 1, 2024 11:59 p.m.
